Alright—can you walk me through your professional journey in academia? Just a brief overview of how you got started, your main areas of focus, and what brought you to this point.

I have completed my PhD. From Sastra Dean University. India, 2020. I have joined my PhD in year 2020. Eighteen and four year I have completed my PhD. It's. I have got a in.

Alright, Dr., let's focus on your teaching for a moment. Out of all the foundational topics you cover with undergraduates, which concept do you find the most rewarding to teach, and why?

Alright, so you completed your PhD at Sastra Deemed University in 2022 after starting in 2018, and you've been serving as an Assistant Professor at Gitam University since 2023. Can you describe the classroom environment you aim to create for your students—what's important to you when you walk into a lecture hall?

PST20002023. And after the aborting the PhD. I have joined. As in there and save as an assistant professor in there and Saga University. In Bangalore. I have worked there for 1 1/2 year. And after that I have came to the Ethan University in the August 2033. And I am. Here I'm working here as an assistant professor.

Okay, so you've been teaching as an Assistant Professor at Gitam University since August 2023 after a stint at Dayananda Sagar University. Out of all the courses or foundational concepts you teach, is there one that you find especially rewarding or engaging to explain to undergraduates? Why does that particular topic stand out for you?

Currently I'm dealing with the subject. Which is. Database management system. Previously I have completed the subject. And did I structure? I have also. Taught the machinery and the human computer interface to the highest semester student. I have completed. Then we take project. For the student. I have published. 30, yes. Repeated journal paper in that five CA. And other people. This comes under the scope of syntax. I have h-index 10 h-index in the Google Scholar. And I need to change in the Scopus. And this is about me coming to my the family background. I have 3. Sister. My father is a businessman. And my mother is a house maker.

That's a solid overview of your academic and teaching background. You mentioned handling both foundational and advanced subjects like DBMS and human-computer interaction—of those, which topic do you find most engaging to teach, and why?

You mentioned teaching foundational subjects like database management systems and data structures, as well as advanced topics like human-computer interaction. Out of all these, which concept do you find most rewarding to teach to undergraduates, and what makes it stand out for you?

Divya database management system. So currently I'm teaching the four semester student. Yeah, and aspiring Micad. And this all about the my work. Which I have completed in my previous year. And previous university as well as in my current university. And if I'm going to switch further new university? I'm basically looking for the. Be happy scholar so that I can complete uh. PST scholars also. And I I'm eager to like. Giving the research idea or new knowledge to the scholars. As a research supervisor, so that. They can also. Completed their PhD and. Limited time.

Alright, I can see your passion for both research and guiding students toward their own scholarly work, especially in areas like image classification and DBMS. Before we shift topics, how do you structure your lectures or labs to ensure that students with different levels of preparation can all grasp a complex concept—like normalization in databases or feature selection in machine learning?

And for this. Curriculum activated. We have uh. The things like that, 70%. We have a like uh, each and every student module after completion. We are going to take a one quiz. So based on the quiz, we are giving the five marks. Student. And in that also ensure that we are not going with the. Online basically with offline session so that student is not going to be. Coughing from anywhere else? And the question is like little bit, uh, complex so that it is take time or but the answer is not that much stuff to answer if they are listening to the class. And if this.

Dr., I noticed you co-authored a paper titled "Deep learning for enhanced brain tumor detection and classification" published in Results in Engineering earlier this year. How do you translate the advanced concepts and methodologies from that research—like convolutional neural networks—into content your undergraduate students can actually grasp and apply in the classroom?

Professor, given your current research on tongue image classification using CNNs and your recent publication on water quality assessment, where do you see the most promising and fundable directions for your research in the next three years? Which specific grants or external funding agencies would you target to support this work?

NCN mostly go with that how we are going to be. Get the fund or grab any. Project from the. Our government or we should leave some. Knowledge or idea on the innovative idea and how the AI is going to work. And uh. The AI is coming in the picture so how that? Yeah, it's going to be. But of Oas going to be. Uh, welcome on interview. Teachers as well as the infrastructure in the industry. But the AI is not like that is going to be fully automated. Was still. They needed that, so they can't wait to be. You're so that's why how we are going to be make a. Balance between the human and the air. That is going to be my next person. So as I have talked about my tongue image classification and uh. Water quality paper so be this are the basic. Paper so for the future things. I want to be equal with another analysis of the real time images. Real time images of the brain as well as my paste topic is the brain tumor images. So how we are going to detect in the source room so that uh.

Efficient or any other physician they can going to be. Get suggested like. Whether they are affected with that brain tumor in that there that is the management or manage in. Why don't you think so? On this, we are going to be apply for the funding asset.

Professor, let's talk about your approach to teaching. Suppose you're leading a fourth-semester DBMS class with 200 students, but you're not allowed to use slides—just the board. How would you keep such a large group actively engaged and make sure they're all actually wrestling with the concepts, not just passively listening?

Accreditation cycles can be pretty demanding. Say you joined our department and found that outcome assessment data was inconsistent across courses—how would you approach fixing that?

Imagine this situation: a student formally accuses you of biased grading. At the same time, your department head is urging you to increase your course pass rates. How would you handle this conflict, balancing fairness to the student, academic standards, and institutional pressure?

Due to the institutional pressures. Especially not going to increase the marks of the student. Because whenever I have given the Marks and the student. That is fully basically on how they have. Person of the app. Exit returns examination. For how they have make their quizzes and the assignment. So. And as some student will talk about the bags. So they know that I'm not that much past 20 student. And if it still insists there that. Then I can give the proof to them that how they're studying. How they're maintaining their theory notebook. Oh, they're listening to the class. For each and every moment I'm capturing so that I can able to answer to the. Shoot as well as Iron 30, so they are not. Bias in the class for the English student. How the student is behaving? How the student are writing? How the student is securing the marks in the exclamation? Based on that idea.

Given your background in database systems and AI-driven image classification, do you have industry connections that could help your students access internships or real-world projects?

Yes, I have industry connection. My many friends is working in the. Company as well on the higher post. And if the student is uh, well. Put in the Ihopen. One in the data panel, so I'm insist. For the internship. They can take them by giving the resume to the my friends. They can. Going to uh. Fix it. The candidate or the student is clearing the interview. They can go for the internship to that.

Now focusing on your experience as a research guide—when a master's student is struggling to narrow their thesis topic in multimedia or AI, what's your process for helping them identify a research question that's both novel and feasible?

So when they are struggling with their thesis topic in multimedia or AI. Then my. Things is how they are going to. Novel feature is that they have to be go with the. Real time what is happening in the today's world as of like. So much of things in the real world problem is there. So I'll suggesting to the master student so. Pick anyone real time problem. And just solve that, uh. Try to solve that problem. And if you are able to solve that problem, so that will become the novel linear project. A new project will be also going to be accepted and you will get the master degree.
